Acherus: The Ebon Hold Guide

Author: inwowgold Source: http://www.inwowgold.com

In World of Warcraft, the two major factions such as the Alliance and the Horde and all of the Death Knights have the same starting area in the Acherus: The Ebon Hold, which is referred to as the sanctuary battle ground. Any form of PvP fighting combat is never allowed to take place in this area. So, if you're character loves and adore PvP combat so much try to get rid of this place. If you want to be ahead of your game and have an advantage over the other players, then learning everything you can about Death Knights and even their starting area might help.
Acherus: The Ebon Hold is a floating necropolis that belonged to the Horde. It is found in a region of Northrend known as the Scarlet Enclave and the hold floats above New Avalon, a small town. Previously, it was one of the Lich King's domains. However, when legendary Paladin Tirion Fording won over the Lich King in the epic battle for Light's Hope Chapel, it became the domain or headquarters of the Knights of the Ebon Hold.
The location is so strict that it only permits the Death Knight to enter the place. Once you're a stranger other than the Death Knight expects that you would exit the place without prior entrance. The services are being provided in this area only entails it all DK. All flights are only granted to them and it won't work on you unless you take the character of the DK. Since this place only knows DK then the Death Gate spell is only exclusive in them. There would be a one minute time wherein there would be cool down time that could take the DK back into the area.
That is to say, Ebon Hold only provides services that are related to Death Knights. However, Ebon Hold does it one better by not allowing entrance to anyone who is not a DK. The flight point doesn't show up for non-Death Knights and the portal below Ebon Hold don't work unless you're a Death Knight as well.
When you arrive in Acherus, your Death Knights would still be under the Scourge's command. One of the first tasks that you will have to do as a DK would be to battle the Scarlet Crusaders in New Avalon. This would be followed by several other quests that would help you get familiar with your DK Powers. Once your DK appears there, you don't need to draw your sword and prepare for combat since Acherus is a sanctuary, meaning no Player vs. Player battle will ever happen there. To know more about the quests, you only need to seek out the NPC in Acherus: The Ebon Hold.
Once you get to Acherus: The Ebon Hold, there are several other people that you might wish to speak to such as Lady Alistra, Amal'thazad, and Lord Thorval are all trainers that will help you hone your skills. If you need refreshment, supplies, new weapons, or repairs, there are people like Corpolous, Gangrenus, and Master Siegesmith Corvus to help you. The key is to explore the city as much as you can and test your powers as often as possible. There are a lot of things to learn about your DK and Acherus is a great place to start your education.
It was the floating necropolis that the scourge was using to attack New Avalon but was retaken by Darion Mograine and a handful of Death Knights. It is phased multiple times from when the DK first starts, again after the final push on New Avalon and Light's Hope Chapel, and one last time to host a fight between a group of Death Knights and Patchwerk, an abomination. In its final form it serves as one of the major cities in World of Warcraft.
