Guidelines to Successfully Play a Death Knight in PvP

Author: inwowgold Source: http://www.inwowgold.com

As a newly implemented class, the Death Knight is the class that you want to make the most of it in PvP, you need a Death Knight PvP guide. Over there we'll have put some guidelines together to successfully play a Death Knight in PvP.
First of all, let us get to know the basics of Death Knight PvP. When you start a DK, you begin form level 55 if you already have a character at level cap in your account. You won't have any spells or abilities, though you need to do a series of quests which will grant you the abilities you would get as you level from level 1. It is definitely not an issue with the DK to kill mobs because he can deal lots of damage, tank lots of damage and he can do lots of CC. You must keep track of nay support classes while dealing damage to your own target once in PvP.
Right now Death Knights are very tough. You will find it is hard to find targets and than kill them. Many players prefer to run from a DK if they are solo or even if they are in pairs. The DK has lots of spells and abilities. The best build for PvP is the unholy, which uses more spell damage than melee, so you can ignore enemy armor amounts. A DK should be leading his team as they are incredibly offensive and can take lots of beating, they can use Silence spells on casters and root tanks. You will learn how to manage your class and always stay ahead of your enemy.
Then we'll talk about the tips for playing a DK in battlegrounds. In it you should go for the objectives of the map. That way you'll have lots of players to kill and have a bigger chance of doing an objective. As Death Knights have pretty much everything, you should be safe in fighting any class. Thanks to your pet you can manage up to 3 different enemies. You can set the pet on a healer/caster, use Silence on other support classes and deal damage to another player. You can also protect your own support classes easily by using Death Grip, using this spell you will be able to actually pull an enemy to you, and also root spells. You can do lots of stuff with a DK and need to be fast and to know what and when to do. You'll know in advance what to do making it easier for you to manipulate the battle.
Lastly we will make mention of the tips for playing a DK in arena. The DK has two major roles in arena, one is to protect his healer or caster and another is to maintain pressure on the other team. You can always use chains and Death Grip on people going for your healer. If you're against a damage dealer and a healer, a little trick is to pull the damage dealer somewhere out of sight for his healer, which makes the enemy healer try to get in view for his team mate to heal him making him vulnerable to both yourself and your team mate. You must ensure that you healers stay alive while you apply pressure on the other team. A trick to do this is going for the enemy support class while pulling the enemy tank at you, you the chain the support class and applies damage to him. The enemy tank will than have a choice in peeling you off or going for your healer. Knowing how they will react when you do something is a major advantage you can have in a battle.
To sum up, a DK is pretty complicated to play but once you get used to him, you'll have lots of fun. You need to get yourself a detailed DK PvP guide to speed things up, to never loose a battle again. In a battle, that way you will never be caught unprepared.
