Do you know how to create a DPS Warrior in World of Warcraft? There're some steps to create it and have fun playing it.
The first step is healing. Since you as a Warrior can't cast healing spell on yourself, we suggest stocking up potions, which take up space in your backpack or learning the First Aid skill. You know First Aid is a secondary profession that you can pick up early in your career. You can have three secondary professions and two primary professions. It is a must for any character that does not cast healing spells, but more so for a Warrior as they can use a bandage in combat to heal. And that may be the difference between beating the bad guy and getting your clock cleaned by them.
The second step is armor. If you plan on becoming a DPS Warrior, having excellent armor is very important. The stats you want to look for in armor are strength, stamina and agility. At first you won't get any good armor until you hit level 9, that's when the good stuff drops from defeated NPC's. You can also find good gear on the Auction House, a central place for all players to buy wow gold and sell items in game. One of the best ways to get good gear is to take Mining and Blacksmithing as primary professions, that way you get to mine your own minerals and craft your own items. It will be an excellent way for you to earn money in game as well, as the items you create can be sold on the Auction House.
The third step is weapons. This is a DPS Warrior's main concern. Using what type of weapon depends on the race you may choose in game. You may get a bonus for using a specific type of weapon. Orcs/Trolls get a bonus for using axes, while humans get a bonus for using one and two handed swords and maces. There are other playable races that may or may not get bonuses. Read each one carefully before choosing your race.
The weapon types are as follows:
There are both One-handed and Two-handed weapons that can be used. Two handed weapons give out more damage, but are slower and One-handed weapons give out less damage, but are faster so you can hit more times than with a two-handed weapon. Starting out, we highly suggest going with two-handed weapons, as this will give you the most damage potential.
The last step is dual wielding or not. It is up to you. At level 20, you may learn how to use two one-handed weapons in both hands. This increases your damage output because you can have a weapon in each hand. This becomes especially important once you get higher in levels, as you take on bigger and badder NPC's. If that is not your play style, then stick to two-handed weapons as you will still deal out a considerable amount of damage.
Following these above mentioned steps, we hope that you can get the hang of creating a DPS Warrior in World of Warcraft. Good Luck!
