Player versus Player is an important aspect of World of Warcraft, most of the players choosing this path over Player Versus Environment. In World of Warcraft the Burning Crusade, the "Honor Points" gained from each successful enemy kill can be used as currency to buy PVP rewards.
Both the honor system and battleground rewards have been drastically altered with the release of the patch 2.0.1. Gone are the days of having to grind Alterac Valley for 18 hours a day in order to make Grand Marshall and earn the Grand Marshall's weapons! So how do you get the epic PVP weapons and sets?
First and foremost, you can go to the battlegrounds. As before, battlegrounds award Marks of Honor for competing in and finishing battles. Still you are able to earn three marks for a win, one for a loss. However, the Brigadier Generals in the war rooms are gone, so you no longer redeem Marks of Honor for cash and extra points.
Secondly, you have the ability to find the PVP rewards vendors. These folks are located in the major cities and near the entrances to the battlegrounds themselves such as in Refuge Point, Arathi Highlands, and the Alterac Mountains. Now, instead of requiring a rank, a certain reputation with a faction and gold, PVP rewards are earned through honor points. As you earn these, spend them like cash at the reward vendors.
Thirdly, you should spend your honor points and Marks of Honor. There is a set limit to the number of honor points you can accumulate, so it is in your interest to spend the points before you hit the limit, otherwise you will just be wasting your time in a battleground. The honor limit is at present set at around 90,000. However, this may change in the future.
Fourthly, you are ready to fight and heal. Honor is awarded for both killing enemies and healing allies. Keep in mind that the new scoreboard in the battlegrounds that tracks both damage dealt and damage healed. If you are specced for healing, now is your time to shine!
Fifthly, you must read the fine print. As before, the epic weapons and armor available for PVP have level requirements. You'll find it difficult to purchase the High Warlord's weapons as a level 58.
Sixthly, you can play all the battlegrounds. In an effort to encourage high-level players to visit battlegrounds besides Alterac Valley, which there're several other smaller objectives in Alterac Valley that give you strategic benefits like upgrading your base's defenders and getting help from NPC or controlling graveyards to spawn closer to the enemy base when you die, Blizzard has assigned the required Marks of Honor for epic weapons and armor to Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin which means that the 60s have to go back to Warsong and Arathi again. You thought you'd never have to go back but you must if you want that epic gear.
For the most part, most servers are seeing a massive influx of players entering battlegrounds to access epic gear that used to take months to assemble. So you should go for the wow gold.
Lastly, you can take a rest if necessary. Honor will not decay if you do not visit a battleground every week, which is unlike the old system. Once you earn honor, it's yours until you spend it like cash. Honor tallies are updated nightly.
As above mentioned we hope that you can get the hang of this information and earn more PVP rewards. Good luck!
