Desire Hunter Changes

Author: inwowgold Source: http://www.inwowgold.com

We will avail ourselves of this chance to discuss the desire Hunter changes, now we will firstly talk about ammo.
In patch 3.1, ammo concerted to stacks of 1,000 up from 200, which makes it that much easier to make sure that you have plenty of bang on hand. In addition, ammo pouches and quivers were rendered obsolete when their Haste effects were merged into Auto Shot, which allow Hunters to use all their bag slots more constructively. Even with these leaps and bounds in ammo efficiency of late, there's still plenty that could be done to further streamline the process.
Secondly we will talk about equipped projectiles. One idea that we would propose would be to convert arrows and bullets to a system where they are treated like any other piece of gear you equip. You have the ability to buy generic projectiles from various vendors around the world and load them into your projectile slot just like those crappy white weapons of other types that various vendors sell or for better performance, hoping that the higher quality projectiles drop in instances. Projectiles could be offered as reputation rewards like they were in The Burning Crusade, quest rewards and so on, just like any other piece of gear in the game. This style of projectile could also come with a durability score like other pieces of gear so that you don't just have a completely unlimited supply. With a system such as this, you would eliminate the need for allotting a certain amount of bag space to your projectiles and you would be much less likely to run out of ammo while you're out and about while still functioning within a system that has limits to optimum performance.
Lastly we will talk about projectile glyphs. Another suggestion we would make as a possible alternative would be to provide projectile-related glyphs that somehow enhance the performance or efficiency of your arrows and bullets. For example, a "Glyph of Endless Shots" could magically regenerate the arrows or bullets you have in your bags, preventing you from running out. Or, if we were to go with the above suggestion where projectiles become normal pieces of gear, have glyphs that increase the strength of vendor projectiles, that way casuals can improve the damage output of their projectiles particularly while leveling without needing to endlessly farm instances to hope for an upgrade. This would be particularly helpful because out of necessity projectiles would need to have a relatively low drop rate since typically only Hunters would make use of them. There are tons of different ways you could use glyphs to augment your projectiles but due to the fact that quality Minor glyphs are few and far between, this could be a great improvement for both Hunters and those with the Inscription profession.
We're fond of the idea of projectiles that would solve loads of problems and free up loads of bank/bag space from ammunition, not to mention saving lots of gold in purchasing more and more ammo from engineers.
