Feral Druid PvP Post 3.1

Author: inwowgold Source: http://www.inwowgold.com

Do you want to learn how to Player vs. Player your Druid in the Battlegrounds of World of Warcraft? You are coming in the right place we have developed some time tested tips for Druid PvP in the world of World of Warcraft over the years of playing Druid. These principles and strategies might seem like common sense but you'd be surprised at how many players neglect these simple strategies. Though, they are things exclusive only to play style in World of Warcraft. Let's get down to business and add to your arsenal some strategies that will have your opponents choking on your dust in the World of Warcraft battlegrounds.
You must first understand the overall role of a Druid in the Battlegrounds if you really want to understand the extensive abilities of a Druid. We're a lot different from other classes in that we can do a host of different things but that doesn't mean we should try to do them all of the time. If you're spec'd feral, don't come out unless you absolutely need to. But most of the time, players get addicted to the multi-tasking ability of a Druid and forget that you're at your strongest when you focus on just one thing. This is one of the most crucial ideologies to remember as you're PvPing your Druid. In order to hold your own, you must stick to just one play-style. There's one exception to the rule as you're playing your Druid. There is a difference between getting addicted to the multi-tasking aspect of the Druid and using the form switching effectively. You just have to know when to swap out. If you need to run, you'll have to switch to Cheetah, and then if you get trapped, jump back to cat and dash. The Druid must always be one step ahead of their more immobilization having captors.
It is time now to get down to the actual play style, you should use shred. We've not the ability to tell you how many Druids we see just bouncing around randomly mangling people. In order to play the Wow Druid well, you have to understand that Mangle is not a very good move in itself. The only thing that makes it worthwhile is that it allows your Shred to do more damage. It's true while Shred takes more mana, if you pay attention to the feral tree you can spec it down so it only costs 2 more energy to use than mangle. Don't mangle unless you have to renew debuff to power up your shred! If there was a bible for Druid PvP in World of Warcraft, this would be the most important proverb.
Getting feral swiftness is a must. It might not seem that useful because it doesn't add to your damage, but a 30% increase to your speed while in cat form is a godsend. How many times have you had an injured opponent, on the brink of death run away from you? How many times did you wish you could just catch that player as they go running the flag into your throne room in WSG? Not anymore. With Feral swiftness, even if the opponent has speed buffs, you're going to be just as fast, if not faster. Still if that isn't enough, you have got dash, which combined with feral swiftness wins games. You don't want to be caught without this amazing talent whether you're running the flag, running after the flag, rushing to an Arathi base before the other teams takes it.
