The fourth is professions and how to maximize your income early on. Professions for any character offer a chance to make a majority of your game income. With the latest patches, updates and expansions to World of Warcraft, professions have been revamped in a way that can benefit your character more so than a little extra gold in your pocket or a new piece of equipment. Some professions, more commonly known as gathering or farming professions offer slight attribute boosts that can benefit your character. You may try to pick professions that benefit your class. For example, if you're a Rogue, pick up leatherworking and a gathering profession like skinning, or another main profession like jewel-crafting or enchanting. Remember that you can take advantage of secondary professions like First Aid, and Fishing or cooking, as they can benefit your character and provide a little extra income.
The fifth tip is dungeons and your group. Getting groups for group quests and dungeons will be a big, probably one of the more significant means of your time in Wow. They provide quests, rare items to greatly help you while leveling, and also great practice for developing solid ability and spell rotations, along with team cooperation before you max your character out. Before you enter a dungeon you have to find a group, usually through systems like the Looking For Group feature in the game and the LFG channel in chat. Group's have a predefined setup for dungeons, raids, and even some group quests that consist of a tank, healer and the damage dealers or more commonly known as DPS. So before you enter groups, take what you already know about your class, figure out your role and learn how your character best benefits these groups throughout your leveling.
The sixth tip is addons. By now you've probably gotten a good idea of your character and how to play the game, but one thing you may not know is Blizzard allows the use of third party addons to further enhance your game play. Things like Bartender 4 allow you to customize your action bars to fit your screen to your liking, along with accessory addons like Atlasloot Enhanced let you preview the drops inside dungeons so you can figure out what you want to get and where to go for them. Ask around among your fellow gamers and forums and figure out which addons would be best for you and test around to figure out what best suits your style of game play.
