Did you find the computer games for kids before? Finding computer games for kids these days seems to be impossible, the market is saturated with computer games full of blood and violence. Another common problem is that the games are too complex for children aged between six and fourteen. But do you know some tips on finding computer games for kids? According to the guy at ezinearticles, we can know the details:
Here are three tips for it. First of all, do some research before you head to the shops: Many people forget this step, they fall into the trap of heading to the game shop under-prepared and get talked into buying the latest/greatest new game on the market. It most cases this game will be inappropriate for your children. One of the better sites to do game research on is GameSpot.com. This site has detailed listings of all games current out along with ratings and reviews. This should definitely be your first step when trying to find computer games for kids.
Then, don't limit yourself to the new games: There is no need to spend $100 on a new computer game when you could buy a game that is 1-2 years of for half that price! The classic games are classic because they were and probably still are really fun. Another important point to make here is that new computer games usually require relatively new computer hardware to run. Many people forget this, only to find out on Christmas day that their computer doesn't meet the hardware requirements of the game. You will usually not have this problem with the older games.
The last one, try some online game services: There are many sites on the internet which have over 500 games that are perfect for children. Action games, puzzle games and even education games. These sites usually require a membership fee, but are well worth it. All you have to do is sign up and down the games you want for your kids.
Thanks to the ezinearticles again, hope you can choose a good computer game for your kids. But here is a bad news for World of Warcraft. Say what you want about Fatal1ty and his endless selling out (we know you will), but the guy is a recognizable face, something that's a little hard to find in the world of professional gaming.
Allakazham caught up with him at CES last week, and in between talking about how awesome he and his products were (sigh), they did get some good Warcraft talk out of him. He's been taking advantage of Recruit a Friend, so he's got a Warrior, Rogue, and a Death Knight all to level 60 (unfortunately, I didn't hear him say which faction he plays). His Death Knight's "get over here" "grappling hook" have captured his imagination -- hopefully he'll stick with playing with his brother and get up to level 80 so he can see some of the endgame PvP. Unfortunately, he says he's not into PvE at all, which explains why he's going slow, but if he can push the last 20 levels, there's some fun stuff to be found..
And then it's back to the selling -- he says he's looking forward to sponsoring some players under his brand later this year (though he has no plans to play WoW professionally), and he pimps some equipment, too. It's not exactly a hard-hitting interview, but it is interesting to hear one of professional gaming's biggest names talk about his time in Azeroth. Hope you can choose the right computer game and play at the right time, enjoy it.
