Also, the Blizzard UI design crew is interested in interface elements suitable for general use. They're not interested in creating specific interface elements for the specific playstyles of specific classes -- for one thing, they don't want to tell people how they should play the game. For another, those niches are best served by the community.
A great deal of community mod ideas, however, are on Blizzard's "hot list" for possible inclusion later. Now that the game will support dual character specs, there's talk of building the functionality of mods like "Item Rack" into the main game (although this isn't a sure thing). The team is also constantly struggling with figuring out a clean, casual-friendly way to display the amount of hate players are generating toward the mobs to help tanks with agro management. Finally, the entire UI team thanked mod-makers for all their work and their contribution to the WoW community at large.
