DPS Warrior

Author: inwowgold Source: http://www.inwowgold.com

As a DPS Warrior, there are two different types of specs you can choose such as Fury or arms. As an arms Warrior, you typically use a two handed weapon dealing high crits and attack a bit slower then a fury Warrior. You are also there to buff the raid with talents like Blood Frenzy and Improved Demoralizing Shout. This is probably the most challenging damage class in the game at the moment. Timing and brains are everything if you want to lead the damage meter.
As a fury Warrior, you are more of a wannabe-rogue. You deal fast damage usually equipped with two one hand weapons. You deal more damage as a fury Warrior then as a arms Warrior, based on that you have equal gear in both specs. This specialization got more room for error, like brain-drop and lags.
As an arms Warrior, there are two different specializations to choose from. The first one is the Improved Slam specialization, most commonly used, but nowadays there is also people using an Improved Heroic Strike build. The point with that is to have more rage so you can then spam WW and MS as soon as the cool-down is over.
Since you can't cast healing spells on yourself as a Warrior, we suggest either stocking up on potions, or learning the First Aid skill. First Aid is a secondary profession that you can pick up early in your career. You can have three secondary professions and 2 primary professions. First Aid is a must for any character that does not cast healing spells, but more so for a Warrior as they can use a bandage in combat to heal. And that may be the difference between beating the bad guy or getting your clock cleaned by them.
It is imperative that you have excellent armor if you plan on becoming a DPS Warrior. The stats you want to look for in armor are pluses to your strength, stamina and agility. At first you won't get any good armor until you hit level 9, that's when the good stuff drops from defeated NPC's. You can also find good gear on the Auction House, a central place for all players to buy and sell items in game. One of the best ways to get good gear is to take Mining and Blacksmithing as primary professions, that way you get to mine your own minerals and craft your own items. It will be an excellent way for you to earn money in game as well, as the items you create can be sold on the Auction House.
At level 20 you learn how to use two one-handed weapons in both hands. This increases your damage output because you can have a weapon in each hand. This becomes especially important once you get higher in levels, as you take on bigger and badder NPC's. If that is not your play style, then stick to two-handed weapons as you will still deal out a considerable amount of damage.
You should pay more attention to a DPS Warrior's main concern. What types of weapons you use depend on the race you choose in the game. After that you may get a bonus with your own effort. Orcs/Trolls get a bonus for using axes, while humans get a bonus for using one and two handed swords and maces. There are other playable races that may or may not get bonuses. Both One-handed and Two-handed weapons can be used. Two handed weapons give out more damage, but are slower and One-handed weapons give out less damage, but are faster so you can hit more times than with a two-handed weapon.
