Do you know the best way to level your Herbalism in World of Warcraft? Leveling your toon from square one but many people decide to pick up Herbalism in later stages of World of Warcraft in order to save world of warcraft gold bases on mats required for flasks, potions and elixirs is the best way. This guide is intended for higher level Alliance toons that have the Burning Crusade and Wrath of Lich King installed and want a way to level Herbalism fast. I've tested this method and have found that that is the best way to level Herbalism quickly in World of Warcraft.
If you have multiple high level toons, a Druid is one of them. You can use the Druid as your Herbalist. Druids can level Herbalism faster then any other classes in World of Warcraft because they don't need to dismount in flight form to pick flowers. If you don't have a Druid, it doesn't really matter which class or race out of your higher level toons you choose. It makes no sense to roll a new Druid since you'll have to level the toon in order to safely pick herbs in certain regions, which will waste time while you are trying to quickly level Herbalism.
You don't want to drop any of your current professions to pick up Herbalism, consider creating a Death Knight if you only have one Wow toon that is high level. Since DK starts at level 55, it'll be much quicker to level then any other class will allow you to reach the max level of Herbalism as quickly as possible.
For fast Herbalism leveling, you will want to train for the next level as you can. Apprentice is the first level for training. When your Herbalism skill level reaches 50, you've the ability to train for Journeyman; at 125 points you can train for Expert; at 200 you can train for Artisan; at 300 you can train for Master; and at 350 you can train for Grand Master, which is currently highest level of training available.
If you don't know where the beginner herbalism trainers are located, just ask a guard in any major city and navigate to the red flag that appears on your mini map. Set your hearth stone to the Inn closest to the trainer and hearth and train as soon as you hit the minimum point requirement for the next level. For Master training, you'll need to visit Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula and for Grand Master, visit the trainers in either Valgarde or Valiance Keep in Northrend.
It is often advised that you should concentrate on activities that are still orange and possibly on those that are yellow to maximize your points gained as for many professions in World of Warcraft. However, for gathering professions, and Herbalism in particular, the trick is to pick herbs in one area until one of the herbs available turns gray. The points you gain will slow for the herbs that are green to you, but this will make for fast Herbalism leveling.
You will find that the majority of herbs in a new area are red and you can not pick them when you move to that area where the lowest herbs are orange. You'll also waste valuable time running around the region to find those infrequent orange herbs which will gain you that one precious point. When you move to the next region the majority of herbs will be yellow and orange and you'll quickly acquire the points necessary to pick the herbs that are red when you first arrive.
It is out of question that having the fastest mount possible will help you on your quest to level Herbalism as quickly as possible. Even low level herbs are in great demand, meaning that you will be earning lots of wow gold while you level and should be able to afford the fastest mount for your toon's level in no time.
