You're going to get frustrated. You're not as geared as you'd like to be and both normal difficulty and heroic difficulty instances are going to continue to be trouble for you. My advice is to stick with it. I spent 3 hours wiping on Heroic Halls of Lightning after dinging level 80 just hours earlier. It can be done. Bring pots, use consumables, and pay attention to everything. It's harder because you're not familiar with boss abilities. Once you get the hang of that, it's one less issue to worry about. So stay with it!
Another friends said that: I agree. I hit 77 on my priest last night before logging. I have done all the instances up to UP now and have only quested in HF, BT, and Dragonblight. I was 4% away from 77 when I finished Dragonblight so I just barely touched the Grizzly Hills. Didn't grind instances either, just one maybe two runs of each to try them and hope for gear (which never drops for me anyway). I figure I will hit 80 after doing the Grizzly Hills, Sholazar Basin, and part of ZulDrak leaving me plenty of quests to do at level 80 in the Storm Peaks and Icecrown. Will help build up the cash I spent on the constant respecs between holy (for instances) and disc (for questing).
