Lineage II Controls Basics

Author: inwowgold Source: http://www.inwowgold.com

Do you understand how to control your Lineage II character? For you, it is vital to understand the various windows that are on the screen, which you want to know how to control your character in Lineage II.
Starting from the top left corner you have the status window which contains all the vital information for that character including MP, HP, CP, level, and experience. Furthermore the status window keeps track of all the effects, either through spells or items that are active on the character. Lastly, if you click the status window it targets the character.
The target window is the next window of interest which is directly to the right of the status window. It just tells you the name and HP of anything you might have targeted. When you target another player, only the player's name will be in the target window. When you have something targeted, clicking on the arrow on the left corner of the window which will give you information concerning the enemies' attributes or clan and alliance information if the target is a player.
Radar is the next window which it is the upper right hand corner. It tells you where you are, where your party members are and information concerning the terrain. In the same way, the radar displays information concerning members of you (presented in green), targets (presented in red) and where they are relative to each other. In the upper right corner of the radar is a hammer that allows you to toggle what is displayed on the radar. For example if you wanted to see where the enemies are or wanted to hide the position of party members, these options can be toggled on and off via clicking on the hammer. Finally, the radar gives you information about the area your in. The color of the radar tells you information whether the area is forbidden or general fields (gray), peaceful (blue), a buff is applied once the area is entered (red), orange (siege), and green (PvP arena).
The shortcut window is right below the radar, which it allows you to drag and drop icons of items, actions, skills and spells and place them conveniently on the UI. Some statistics about the shortcut window: 120 hot keys can be registered divided between 10 hot key bars (120/10 = 12 hot keys/hot key bar). Though the UI only shows one hot key bar at a time, this can be changed by pressing Alt +F1-F10. Finally you can lock the shortcut window so none of the icons can be shifted or taken off or placed on the window.
The menu bar is below the shortcut window, which allows you to keep track of and contains information concerning character's status, inventory, action menu, skills and magic menu, quest, clan, maps, and system menu.
The chat and system message window is in the lower left hand corner. The top part of the window displays system messages and the bottom displays chat message. The bottom part of the window has tabs that divide up chat messages into all, clan, party, trade, and alliance.
Through our above-mentioned discussion, we best hope that you can get the knowledge of controlling your Lineage II even better. If you still have something in trouble, you can ask for our help and we are in position to offer you a big hand.
