There are ranges of ways you can level your characters faster in WoW. Here are two ways in which you can level faster. These two ways are basic tactics but are usually overlooked.
The first way is to set your Inn/Hearth Location to Shattrath or Dalaran. When Burning Crusade was launched they added a cool addition. That addition was the portals in Shattrath city to all other major cities.
If you set your Hearthstone to Shattrath or Dalaran, you'll be able to use the portal to go to any of the other major cities by just clicking on the portal of the place you want to go.
In Shattrath you can choose between 2 different places to set you Hearthstone. This makes things a little more confusing because in Dalaran there are obvious inns. They are Aldor Rise and Scryers Tier.
You can find Aldors Rise and Scryers Tier by asking one of the guards, alternatively press the M key and they will appear on your map. Hint: You can take the lift to where you want to go. Scryers Tier is to the South, Aldors Rise is to the West.
You can actually jump own of the lift (when you come to it to go down) and you wont die. You'll only die if you have a weak character or poor gear.
If you're below level 74 then you won't be able to open a portal, in this case you'll need to talk to a Mage and get them to do it for you. You should find one in most cities without too much trouble - be prepared to give them a gold piece or 2 to do this for you.
The second is to get a new in-game Leveling Add-on. A few cool leveling add-ons have been created in the past 6 months. What these add-ons do is show you in game exactly where you need to go and what you need to do for each quest. It saves you a lot of time spent wandering around - these patches really are amazing.
If you want to level quickly and easily, I highly recommend you try one of these add-ons. For most people they double the speed of leveling.
