Tips on Death Knight and Warrior

Author: inwowgold Source: http://www.inwowgold.com

Do you find any difference with Death Knight? The Alliance one in Dragonblight where you go kill the named captain and she drops a letter. Wrathgate. The one where you kidnap the pups, and the phased Alliance ones in the early Fjord. Anything DEHTA. And so many more. Some of the girls in this thread admit to crying when having to do some quests, or discovering they'd inadvertently killed an innocent. I won't say I have personally had that reaction (though I do try to rescue the fawns and the Wrathgate cut-scene always gives me serious chills), but I've hesitated on carrying out some quests and even skipped entire quest lines because I don't want to do the quest giver's bidding.

Blizzard have really stepped up the pace with the questing in Wrath of the Lich King. By now, most of you will have done the quests in the starting areas of Northrend and realised how much thought has gone into them. It's certainly nice to know Blizz have worked so hard on ensuring we actually enjoy levelling up. One of the best friends vincentcloud said that: "I kill things and they respawn no harm done. I think if you cant detach yourself from the game and see that it is indeed a game then you need seriously help. I hate to say I can see someone trying something stupid from playing this one day just like people blame GTA or Quake for some kid going to school and shooting people. Im surprise PETA is gonna jump on that bandwagon cause they seem to think even killing computer animal is probally wrong. Im sorry I enjoyed these quest(with the exception on the nesingwary ones cause they are tedious)if it be killing mammoths or stealing the pups. Now excuse me I have to go find bambi's mother and shoot her and skin her." How do you think about it?

My own Death Knight is not quite up to raid tanking yet; I've got a few more levels to go on that one. However, some players have noticed that DK threat, especially on single targets, seems a bit low - significantly lower than the other three tank classes, to the extent that the tanks were having trouble keeping threat against high DPS. It turns out that there was a slightly complicated bug involving Frost Presence, the foundation of DK tanking.

It went like this:
Some aspects of Frost Presence don't go away when you die, and some do (this is the bug).
The threat boost, however, does go away when you die.
When you res and come back without changing presences, the game doesn't reapply Frost Presence, because it sees that you already have some of the effects of it.
However, you still don't have the threat boost.
So potentially, DKs who die and come back without switching to another presence (Blood or Unholy) and then back to Frost were missing out on the 45% threat that Frost Presence brings. This has been hotfixed now, so there is no further need to worry about it. If you saw your DK threat go up a lot yesterday, that's probably why.

Ghostcrawler adds that "it is likely" that Defensive Stance was also being affected by this bug, although I haven't seen any prot warriors complaining about their threat since 3.0 hit.
