The fourth tip is to only take convenient quests. If a quest requires you to visit a small island in the middle of an ocean on the other side of the continent, it's probably not worth doing, if you're trying to be efficient about leveling. The only time this bit of advice should be ignored is when that quest is a prerequisite for another quest, which in turn would yield more experience at a faster rate.
With several maps away from the quest-giving NPC, quests are simple quests requiring you to talk to another NPC or a delivery quest. These are definitely recommended if there's a point in which the mobs are too high of a level and you would have to actively grind monsters to be able to do those quests efficiently.
The fifth tip is always to be courteous to other players. You can just leave the monster alone, rather then be rude and kill them that other players need for a quest but which you don't. There may be an elite quest which bears better equipment that you will need to team up with that player with later. The same goes for killing enemy faction players, they can make your experience a lot tougher if you don't leave them alone. In addition, they probably have a main logged in near their alternate character, ready to pounce.
