- Eligibility. BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT, INC. (referred to herein as "SPONSOR") IS THE SPONSOR OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA WHO ARE OF THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR STATE OR PROVINCE OF RESIDENCE. If you reside in the Province of Quebec in Canada, you are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in the format designated below. Directors, officers and employees of Sponsor, its parent, and any of its affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each are not eligible to win any prizes. All applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. There is no cost to enter or win. Sweepstakes void in the province of Quebec and where otherwise prohibited. In the event of any dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the e-mail address associated with the entry.
- Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes shall commence on 10:00 AM Pacific Time on November 30, 2009 (the “Start Date”), and shall continue in duration until 10:59 PM Pacific Time December 11 , 2009 (the "Deadline"). All entries must be received by the Deadline and in accordance with these official rules to be eligible to win a prize.
- Entry in the Sweepstakes, Rules and Prizes. You must be a registered user of Twitter® to participate in the Sweepstakes. If you are not a registered user of Twitter®, simply visit https://twitter.com/signup to register, which is free. Once you are a registered user of Twitter®, you must become a follower of Warcraft® by visiting www.twitter.com/warcraft and clicking “Follow.” Beginning on the Start Date, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants each business day (Monday through Friday) to receive a prize in accordance with the following schedule:
- On Monday, November 30, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a Robotic Homing Chicken pet.
- On Tuesday, December 1, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for an Area 51 Rocket Mount.
- On Wednesday, December 2, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a Baby Hippogryph pet.
- On Thursday, December 3, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a Riding Turtle mount
- On Friday, December 4, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a Ethereal Plunderer pet.
- On Monday, December 7, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a War Bear Mount pet.
- On Tuesday, December 8, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for an Onyxia Kite.
- On Wednesday, December 9, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a Spectral Tiger mount .
- On Thursday, December 10, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a Baby Monkey pet.
- On Friday, December 11, 2009, one (1) qualified entrant will be chosen by Sponsor at random from all qualified entrants to receive a World of Warcraft Loot Code that can be redeemed in World of Warcraft for a Rooster Mount.
- Potential winners will have seventy two (72) hours to claim a prize, or the prizes will given away to an alternate winner. To claim a prize potential winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification. Entrants whose names or screen names are posted on the website as winners are not eligible to receive a prize until the verification process has been completed and they have complied with all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. Each entrant can only win one (1) prize during the Sweepstakes Period
- Odds of Winning . Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entrants for the applicable drawing. Non-winning eligible entrants will be included in subsequent drawings for prizes in the same Sweepstakes. ALL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE AS WELL AS ANY COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE AND USE OF A PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS. Prizes not claimed within the time period specified by Sponsor will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value for any prize. Limit one prize per household or address. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
- General Release. By entering the Sweepstakes, you release Sponsor, participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
- Affidavit and Release. As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners may be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed Affidavit of Eligibility, which includes an acceptance of these Official Rules and a release of liability.
- Winners List; Rules Request. For a copy of the winners list, send a stamped, self-addressed, business-size envelope after December 15, 2009 and before June 30, 2010 to Sponsor at the following address: “ World of Warcraft Twitter® “Loot” Sweepstakes -Winners List,” c/o Blizzard Entertainment, P.O. Box 18979, Irvine, CA 92612. To obtain a copy of these rules, send a stamped, self-addressed business-size envelope to Sponsor at the following address: “World of Warcraft Twitter® “Loot” Sweepstakes -Rules Request,” c/o Blizzard Entertainment, P.O. Box 18979, Irvine, CA 92612. Residents of WA and VT may omit return postage.

- Miscellaneous. The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes or any entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control affect the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of running the Sweepstakes as planned. Entrants who violate these Official Rules, tamper with the operation of the Sweepstakes or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the Sweepstakes or any other entrant (in each case as determined in Sponsor's sole discretion) are subject to disqualification from entry into the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to lock out persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
