* Blacksmithing: As a Blacksmith you can make wow gold in a couple of ways. You can make nice fancy items such as Armor, or less exciting but more needed items such as Grinding Stones. To make a consistent and good income as a Blacksmith in WoW, focus on making expendable items (items that need replacing).
* Enchanting: Enchanting is a profession that when used wisely can give you a solid income. The best way to make money with Enchanting is to actually focus your efforts on disenchanting. Materials such as Shards and Dust sell well across every server.
Use disenchanting to make materials to sell to other Enchanters that are not interested or too lazy to get the materials themselves.
* Engineering: As an Engineer you should aim to create items that are consumable, like Blacksmiths. Consider making bomb's, fireworks, and quest related items in order to get the biggest profit.
* Small Pet Vendors: Believe it or not small pets can make you very rich in WoW. All you need to do is travel through Azeroth and collect as many as you can. Sell these in the AH for a very tidy profit.
You can also farm rare pets in World of Warcraft and then sell these for big gains. Two rare pets that have worked well for me are the Dragonhawks and Drakelings.
* Instance Runs: Green items can be farmed using a number of instances in WoW. You can choose to disenchant these items or directly sell them in the AH. By the time you're at level 70 you'll be able to run instances by yourself which is often very profitable.
